Hello Members!

 

    I hope that your semester has started on a good note! I would first like to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Vega and I am on the NSCS National Leadership Council (NLC), this year. I am one of 14 members from around the Nation, elected to serve on this years council. On the NLC, my position is Vice President for Member Experience.My major goal is to include the you, the members in everything that NSCS has to offer. I would love to get to know each of you and make the experience a long lasting impression during your academic endeavors.

     You are probably wondering a little more about me I am currently a student at Florida International University, in Miami, Florida. It is hot 12 months in a year! I have lived here my whole life and just want to move to the northeast already!!! I just began my senior year as a special education major. I am hoping that I will impact the lives of my students the way I have experiences from my awesome teachers. I believe everyone is entitled to a free and appropriate education no matter where or what you come from. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, relaxing at home, going to school and distracting myself with millions of to-do lists.
